Refund Policy
1. Our Commitment
Yupcha Softwares Pvt. Ltd. is committed to providing a fair, transparent, and compliant experience for all customers. We design all our services with customer satisfaction in mind and adhere to global data and consumer protection standards, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
2. Eligibility for Refunds
Refunds may be granted under the following conditions:
- Technical malfunction preventing product usage, unresolved after support intervention.
- Duplicate or accidental billing for the same subscription.
- Service delivery failure (such as missing core functionalities advertised at purchase).
Refund requests based solely on disinterest, change of mind, or non-usage will not be accepted unless required by governing consumer law.
3. EU/EEA Right of Withdrawal (14 Days)
For residents of the European Union and European Economic Area:
- You have the right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days of the transaction date without giving a reason.
- However, this right does not apply if you expressly agreed to immediate service activation (e.g., starting a paid SaaS subscription during the withdrawal period), acknowledging that the service began before the withdrawal period ended.

4. Subscription Renewals
Our subscriptions operate on recurring billing cycles. Depending on the plan selected, your subscription may either renew automatically or require manual renewal at the end of each term. Details about your plan's renewal type will always be clearly provided at the time of purchase.
If your subscription is set to renew automatically, we will send a renewal reminder in advance before the renewal date. You can cancel the upcoming renewal at any time through your account settings or by contacting support before the billing date.
Once a renewal is processed, related fees are non-refundable, except where refund laws (including regional consumer protections) require otherwise.
5. Trial and Promotional Plans
- Free or discounted trials are non-refundable.
- Paid subscriptions starting after trial expiry follow standard refund rules above.
6. Refund Request Procedure
To request a refund, email [email protected] with your account email, transaction ID, and reason for the request.
Requests are processed within 7 to 10 business days after verification.
7. Data Handling Under GDPR
Refund-related data (including billing records, communications, and transaction logs) is processed solely for legal, accounting, and compliance purposes. Such data is stored securely and deleted in accordance with GDPR Article 17 (“Right to Erasure") after fulfilment of legal retention obligations.
8. Exclusions
Refunds do not apply to:
- Enterprise or custom contractual agreements are governed by separate terms.
- One-time setup, onboarding, or customisation fees.
- Misuse, violations, or fraudulent activities breaching Yupcha's Terms of Service.
9. Governing Law
This policy shall be interpreted in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws and data privacy regulations, including the EU GDPR and Indian IT Act, 2000 (where applicable).
Disputes will be handled under the jurisdiction of Tripura, India, unless otherwise stated in regional agreements.
